Cemented carbide long strips have high hardness, good wear resistance, high elastic modulus, high compressive strength, good chemical stability (acid, alkali, high temperature oxidation resistance), low impact toughness, and low expansion coefficient. In addition, its thermal and electrical conductivity is similar to that of iron and its alloys.
The range of application of different properties of cemented carbide long bar is different, it can process solid wood, density board, gray cast iron, non-ferrous metals and other materials; it can also make simple shape woodworking tools and cutting tools of chilled cast iron, hardened steel, brake material; it can also process high speed steel, tool steel, chilled cast iron, glass fiber, particle board and stainless steel and so on. In general, carbide long bar has the characteristics of high red-hardness, good weldability, high hardness and high wear resistance, which is mainly used in making and processing solid wood, density board, gray cast iron, non-ferrous metal materials, chilled hard cast iron, hardened steel, PCB, brake materials, etc. When using it, you should choose the suitable material of carbide strips specifically according to the application.
